Welcome to the brand new offical website of Brodsworth Welfare AFC, we hope you find the website very informational and easy to use.

Brodsworth Welfare or "Broddy" to many local people are a Northern Counties East League team, currently playing in Division 1, we are a community based club with our Community's interests at heart, we have a large junior section and Academy with a Female team coming for the 2010/11 season and have close relationships with other local Sunday and Saturday teams.

Whats Happening At Brodsowrth

PRE-SEASON TRAINING/ TRIALS1st Team - Under 19's Academy - ladies Seniors- Under 17's
1st Team

If You feel you has what it takes to play at a competitive county level then Brodsworth 1st Team are looking for New players to compete on the 2010/11 season of the North East Counties League Division 1.
Next Session Tuesday 13th July 6:30pm @ The Welfare Ground, DN6 7PP (top pitch)

Under 19's Academy
If you have just competed at Under 16's Junior level and feel you have the skills and potential to play at a higher standard the why not come and see if you have what it takes?

Senior Ladies Team
This Season sees a first for Brodsworth, a new Senior Female Team, why not come and see if you have what it takes to play? and show its not only men that can have silky skills?
Training has now started with a good turnout and some quality players but if you are still interested in coming down then please feel welcom to com to the next session.

Under 16's Juniors

Our Under 17's Boys Junior Team who will be competing in the Doncaster & District Junior Sunday Boys League for the 2010/11 season are looking for players to join, the team play in the main ground for their home games, so facilities are above those of the average junior team. If you would like to play then please come to the training session below:
Tuesday 13th July, 6:30pm on the Top pitch of The welfare grounds & Saturday 17th July 10:30am

Volenteers Required
Could you give up some free time?
Brodsworth Welfare are a Football Club with a community focus and require volountiers to help with the running of the club

With the clubs teams expanding more volenteers are required to keep the club moving forward and to help fulfil the ambitions of the current committee, Volenteers, fans & Players. If you think you could give some of your spare time up then we are interested in hearing from you, especially if you could help fill the following roles. Matchday PA Sytem operator, catering Assistant, commercial Manager or any other role you think you could do well.

Club News
New Female Senior Team for season 2010/11

With Brodsworth Continuing to move forward and develop the club we are adding a female senior team to the club next year
The Team will Play in the Sheffield and hallamshire County FA League, The Application has been made and was accepted at the leagues AGM on 2nd June.
The league fixtures are played on sundy afternoons so we hope for much support from you for the ladys after you have finished your sunday dinners!
